Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has urged the Federal Government to make public the CCTV footage of those behind the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State, insisting that Nigerians deserve full transparency regarding the incident.

She made the call in a post shared on her verified X handle while responding to the ongoing exchange involving Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo and NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Keyamo had accused Obi of violating airport parking rules at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and asked him to apologise and pay a ₦25,000 fine.

The development came after Obi alleged that the Federal Government was frustrating him and threatening his safety.

Responding, Yesufu questioned why government officials appeared more interested in airport parking issues than providing evidence that could expose those responsible for the Oyo school abduction.

She urged authorities to release CCTV footage of the kidnappers or other criminals responsible for terrorising innocent Nigerians.

The activist argued that tackling insecurity should receive greater attention than political disagreements or minor administrative issues.

Her remarks have added to the ongoing national conversation on insecurity and government accountability.
